Cakes and Scones at The Clipper Restaurant
We pride ourselves on our extensive range of cakes and over 20 different variations of scones to choose from, sweet or savoury, all baked in house by one of our talented team of chefs!
Typical scones include fruit, plain, lemon, cherry and Dorset apple. For our savoury scones, we recommend trying feta and olive or Dorset blue Vinny and walnut. If you’re feeling adventurous, how about cheddar and marmite?
Firm sweet favourites include our fresh cream pastry slices, custard slices, strawberry tarts and cream scones. From banoffee pie to apple pie, lemon meringue, cheesecakes and gateaux, we have something for everyone.
Our favourite has to be our Clipper cream teas: freshly prepared homemade scones served with clotted cream, a selection of jams and your choice of tea or coffee.
